What to include in a support request

  • Your Chrome version and operating system.
  • The site you were trying to clip, if you are comfortable sharing it.
  • Whether the issue happened during capture, annotation, export, or bridge handoff.
  • Any screenshot or screen recording that makes the bug obvious.

Common questions

Do I need the local bridge to use LLM Clip?

No. Core capture, annotation, and copy workflows work without the bridge. The bridge is only for local workspace discovery and direct Claude/Codex handoff.

Why won’t LLM Clip capture a Chrome settings page or PDF?

Chrome blocks capture on certain internal or restricted page types, including Chrome pages, the Chrome Web Store, extension pages, and PDF tabs.

Where are my clips stored?

Locally in the extension’s storage and local browser-managed data stores. v1 does not require a cloud account.

Can I remove everything?

Yes. You can clear extension data from Chrome or remove the extension entirely.
